Appearance: She looks more fragile than she actually is; delicate facial features and bone structure, more skinny than thin, with big brown eyes and long brown hair. She's pretty, and often looks vulnerable. Whether she is or not is another question.

Personality: Cameron is very bright and very compassionate. She looks for the logical solution to every problem and while she insists she thinks with her head and not with her heart, this isn't always the case. Cameron can, at times, by ruled both her emotions and her indulgences. She struggles with intimacy and relationships due to previous experience - her marriage at a young age - and she is determined to prove herself as more than just a woman, more than just a pretty face. She resents sexism. She believes in good intentions.

History: Cameron grew up with her older brother in the Midwest, and decided early on to pursue a medical career - she has always wanted to help people. She fell in love with a man while in college and, when she found out he had thyroid cancer, they were married. Cameron was 21. Her husband died six months later.

Throwing herself into work and shying away from love, Cameron became a successful immunologist, taking a position under Dr House at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Initially enamoured with House, she worked hard under him - and soon learned to disagree with him when necessary.

The team ended up dissolving after three years, but her growing interest in Dr. Robert Chase did not; they are still dating even without the same direct working environment, with Cameron working in the ER, and have just moved in together. Cameron has never quite distanced herself from House, still available to give his team advice.
